Today's Toledo Blade, one of America's newspapers, has an article about the end of a Lucas county subsidised art purchase program. It says that one of the reasons it is discontinued is due to lack of participation. Thank God!! Clearly, every "good idea" should not become law; this was not even a "good idea". Like the metal monstrosities that litter the Toledo landscape in the name of "art", this should not financed by any tax dollars, especially in this time of fiscal shortages.
